Makeup Multi-Tasking: Using Less As More

Girls, much as we like all our products a lot, it's not always possible to carry around everything, especially when you're traveling or carrying a considerably smaller bag to work.

Sometimes, there are a few things we always love to have around, whether we need it or not - much like a comfort product (like I always love to carry a favourite shade of lip colour that can instantly brighten up my face and mood). Sometimes, there are products that actually come very handy - like a small stick of lip balm.

Here are a few products you can keep in the bag and mix and match as required:

Liquid Foundation with SPF: Just keep one of this in your bag and you can use this as a concealer, a foundation, a moisturiser and a sunscreen (do apply sunscreen before you leave the house though). Go for one that has moisturising properties so that your skin doesn't feel dry, itchy or tight in the day.
(my personal favourite is the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation)

Lipstick: Carrying a warm tone lip stick in your purse will ensure that you can use it for various purposes. A stick in red / pink / plum / coral / brown can be used on the lip, eyelids as well as cheeks, thus working as a lip colour, eye shadow as well as a blush.

(my personal favourites in lipstick are the ones from Maybelline)

Lip Balm or Vaseline: It's always a good idea to have a lip balm in your purse. Not only does it help soothe dry and chapped lips, the sheen of the lip balm / Vaseline can act as your highlighter on eyes and cheeks.

(my personal favourite lip balm is from Avon's Naturals range)
